12 Port Managed Layer 2 or 3 GbE Switch, AMC
The AMC249 is a single module, full-size AdvancedMC (AMC) based on the AMC.2 specification. The AMC249 provides 8 front panel 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports via RJ-45. It routes two 1GbE to ports 0 and 1.
Routing of ports 4-15 and 17-20 to the Front
The AMC242 is an AMC form factor which routes 16 lanes from the backplane to the front. The module is agnostic to the protocol, any protocol such as PCIe, SRIO, 40GbE, 10GbE, GbE, Aurora, etc. could be routed between the backplane and the front panel.
36x36 Cross Bar Switch (CBS)
The AMC241 is an AMC form factor with a 36x36 CBS which allows any of the 20 lanes from the backplane to be routed to the front. Since the CBS is agnostic to the protocol, any protocol such as PCIe, SRIO, 40GbE, 10GbE, GbE, Aurora, etc. could be routed between the backplane and the front panel.
13 Port Managed Layer 2 Switch, 10GbE
The AMC229 is a single module, full size AdvancedMCTM (AMC) based on the AMC.2 specification. The AMC229 provide 8 front panel 10GbE ethernet ports via SFP+. It routes two 1GbE (these could run as 10GBase-KR, 802.3ap) to ports 0 and 1.
